I think last week I had planned on writing about the ferry strike that happened here. But that ended and Id rather write about other things.
This past week I finished most of my christmas shopping, Saw "The Last Samurai" and "Return of the King", and Jeff called me the wrong name. Also my staff christmas party is tommorow. Miranda and company will be moving to campbell river for January because Mike starts school, so I will be fortunate enough to have my apartment to my self soon... So I guess its been a pretty mixed week both good and bad..... OH and My smoke detector went off so I got a noise complaint.. Can you belive it.. I guess the building is supposed to burn down quietly so as not to disturb the people below me. Thanks for the consern....
Both movies I saw this week were very shiney. I loved the last samaurai, I wanted to go and practice Iaido the moment the theater got out.. and the armor was beautiful.. so were other things. Return of the king was also very good and yet some how disapointing. maybe it was just my mood though. There were also a couple school groups there.. And the teachers went missing until the theater opened its doors. Can you guess how much fun that was at 10:30 am standing in the cold surrounded my yelling children. yeah.. Kids would be a more appropriate term because they had the manners that a goat could be expected to have. Anyways.. I have to run to work.
